Every great story has a beginning, and ours started back in 2008 in a high school theatre department. That’s where we first met, fell in love with the stage, and accidentally built a life around it.

For nearly two decades, we’ve acted, directed, built sets, and lived under stage lights. But through every production, we harbored a shared dream: to one day open a theater space completely our own. A creative sandbox where we didn't have to ask for permission or play it safe. A place where we could produce exactly the kind of bold, unexpected, and passionate shows we wanted to see.

Biggs Downtown is the realization of that 2008 high school dream.

We built this space for the storytellers, the risk-takers, and the theatre lovers who want something a little closer to the edge. We wanted a home where local talent could thrive, and where audiences could walk in and expect the unexpected.

And honestly? We also figured that putting a fully stocked bar right in the venue couldn't hurt either. Because let’s be real, great theatre is always better with a great drink in hand.
